"what the heck?! that's it?! you are just trying to make me read the 3rd book as soon as possible. if i buy it in MPH, it will cost me a fortune. if i buy from school, the front cover is not really that fascinating. :P " these were my reactions after i have finished reading The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. overall, the story was quite sad and i almost cried. i spent one day finishing off the book. even my junior was surprised. who finishes reading a 400+ pages in one day? well, its muah! the story was filled with a lot of sacrifices, sadness, and no mercy. Peeta Mellark have done so many sacrifices for Katniss Everdeen, and they both have to compete again in the 75th Hunger Games, and it ended with the final 8, a hovercraft picked them up and were brought to District 13. and Katniss was told by Gale, that District 12 no longer exist. that sucks! i need to read the last book!!!! :O
moving on, today was the annual marching competition at school. not a lot of people cos some of them went for field trips. the event was started around 9 am. then it kicked off with checking of uniforms before the formations of different platoons. i enjoyed it very much even though the were some screw ups. but it ended well. everyone was satisfied. after that, we had our break. later that time, i went on stage to help out with the medals of honour. before the medals were given, our school's wushu club gave us a fantastic performance with their high kicking legs, awesomely awesome swords flying through the air, including the charismatic melody to accompany them during their performance. then, the moment where everyone is waiting for, the winners! this year's best platoon goes to Kadet Bomba! (though i bet it was going to be Kadet Remaja Sekolah or Kadet Polis, i'm sure there must be some bribery going on back there, LOL). i came back from school, tired, and slept till 5 pm. what a tiring life. but it's worth it. where and when else can you actually watch this type of events? :D there were happy tears, they were sad tears, but everyone enjoyed themselves especially the ones who won. congratulations. a big CONGRATULATIONS to boys under 15, who got 2nd place in MSSD football. your efforts will always be remembered.
i can't really talk much about friends cos im getting really sleepy right now, that is what i get for updating my blog in the middle of the night. anyways, have a great weekend! :)
